Dr. David Roach

Senior Pastor

David Roach is a pastor, author, and seminary professor. A native of New Mexico, he attended Vanderbilt University (BS in philosophy) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (PhD in church history, MDiv in biblical and theological studies). He pastored Emmanuel Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Kentucky, and worked as chief national correspondent for Baptist Press in Nashville, Tennessee. He also served on the staffs of churches in Kentucky and New Mexico.

David is married to Erin, who is from the Lexington, Kentucky, area and holds a journalism degree from the University of Kentucky. Erin served nearly two decades as a writer and editor for Baptist Press. They have three children—Caroline, Mallory, and Hutton. David enjoys reading, golf, and sports—including the Vanderbilt Commodores. But he really loves spending time with Erin and their kids.

Sonya Bryant

Executive Assistant

Sonya Bryant is a retired school teacher. She has a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Mobile and taught for 27 years.  She taught in Mobile County for 25 years and at Shiloh Christian School for 2 years.  She has lived in Satsuma for over 30 years. She has attended Shiloh Baptist Church all of her life.  

Sonya is married to Steve.  They have two sons, Kyle and Kevin.  They also have 2 grandchildren, Jude and Chloe. Steve is retired from Kimberly Clark where he worked as an E & I Technician.  Kyle and Hayley live in Northport and he serves as a state missionary to the BCM at the University of Alabama.  Kevin lives in Saraland and works in IT at a local law firm.

Roxanne Tuggle

Daycare Director

Roxanne has three kids. She has lived in Saraland her whole life. She enjoys shopping and going to the beach. She is our daycare director and makes it a great place to work and a safe environment for kids to learn about Jesus. She has been working at the daycare since 2004.

Darrell & Kris Hovey

Facilities

Darrell has been a member of Shiloh his whole life. He and his wife, Kris, have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons. He has worked at UPS since 1994. He loves spending time with his family and going to Disney World.
